AIUSA Local Group 11 Gala Benefit Concert

Join fellow Amnesty activists and music lovers at a gala benefit concert hosted by a fellow Amnesty Int'l USA local group, Group 11!

Generously organized by Group 11 member Carl Schacter, the concert will feature Richard Goode. one of the great pianists of our time, playing works by Beethoven, whose music he is a famed interpreter, as well as Schumann and Debussy.

Mansour Osanloo, a former prisoner of conscience, will also be at the concert with his family. Group 11 helped free Mr. Osanloo after he was imprisoned and tortured in Iran for organizing a union of bus drivers. Now living in the US, Mr. Osanloo will talk about his experience in Iran and how AIUSA aided him.

The proceeds of the concert will be used to support Group 11's activities during the year, including contributions to AIUSA campaigns and special group events and mailing letters and cards.

Tickets for the concert are $35 ($20 for seniors and $15 for students). They can be reserved by callling[masked]- 9013 or by sending a check made out to Amnesty International USA to Ruth Baron, 230 Riverside Drive, Apt.15N, New York, NY 10025. Friends and family are welcome.

Since we expect the concert to be very popular, please order early.
