Conversation with Journalist Riyadh Al Hamdani

Join us for a discussion with Iraqi and Arab affairs expert Riyadh Al Hamdani on the current crisis in Iraq. Mr. Al Hamdani is a former journalist for the New York Times and has covered the Arab Spring and Iraq War. He previously represented the Iraqi community in the United States during a conference organized by the Refugee Council USA in 2011 on Iraqi displacement.

Mr. Al Hamdani will also discuss the current ISIS persecution of minorities in Iraq, including Christians, Turkomen and Yazidis, and will include women's rights in his presentation.

The discussion will be followed by an open Q&A and informal mingling.
