experiment: try submissions in advance

Autodidacts,   We are back at the LaunchPad for the 6/30 meeting, 4-6 pm.  The main topic is action angle variables.  We can also do any sort of cleanup work we think necessary on the canonical transformations (and even the unpronounceable Maupertuis' principle).

For this meeting, let's try the following:  Everyone try to get insight from whatever sources he or she finds helpful.  If you find a good source, please post it (or a link to it) here.  Also, if you find something you would like to present at the meeting, please circulate your notes at least a few days in advance, if possible.  That way, we can all get the benefit of your intuition, and can come prepared with questions about what you are going to say.  This will hopefully make for a better dialog, because it's hard to ask good questions about a new perspective that is being presented "in real time."

The email function in Meetup.com doesn't allow attachments.  But you can, e.g., scan your notes into pdf, upload them to DropBox, then post the DropBox link here.  It seems worth a try, to structure things a bit.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
