Concurrency in Ruby and Go

David Michael will be presenting about concurrency in Ruby and Go (from his experience with ETL processes).

      Hi David, great talk! When shelling out, are you calling Go code from C and C from Ruby? Do you have any recommended resources for writing ruby extensions in Go.

      Fortunately it is much simpler than that. Go compiles to native binaries - no C involved (at least not directly). So for this technique, you are not writing extensions really, you are writing native programs that you will all with something like Open3.capture3 "your command"
