Hey! I'm a traveling frenchman coming from Göteborg (Sweden) and I'm gonna need a place to work tomorrow (March 27th), would someone be so kind as to lend me a chair and an internet connection at their office for a day? (I'm staying in New Jersey, commute is a pain). I can pay back by inviting you for lunch, pair programming with you for a couple of hours and/or teaching you french or swedish. :) I kinda secretly hope to spend the day in a fancy workshop like pivotal and get to compare the working environment with the startup I work at in Sweden :p I tried to pull that off at the last LispNYC meetup, but kinda got turned down... (Y U CRAZY WHAT ABOUT ALL OUR SECRET SAUCE! NDAs NDAs NDAs!)

I'll be working out of New Work City tomorrow (nwc.co) which is a great co-working space for $30 a day.

If you are super cheap, Wix Lounge (google for it) is not going to cost you anything - it's crowded, though. So, when are you taking the 75 of us for lunch? :)
Yeah, I've been to the Wix Lounge last time, it was pretty sweet. By arriving quite early I haven't had any problems to find room. It's just... Less epic :)
Jean-Loius, I second Wix Lounge as a free alternative, they have internet, coffee/tea, bathrooms, and usually a seat on the couch is available every time I've been there. Tables may get crowded though.
Sorry, misspelled your name, Jean-Louis...
@aaron No problem, happens all the time :)
You gotta watch out about the one bathroom in Wix, It takes everyone in the Wix to keep it clean and only one pig to destroy it - If that happens and you can hold it in, use the bathrooms in the Business NYPL on Madison Avenue (West side of the Avenue) between 34th and 35th Street :)
That restroom is even worse.

Well, I stopped by that library a month ago and they've taken to cleaning the restrooms three times a day M-F. Don't know about Saturdays :) I'll take clean bathrooms in the library over the library being well stocked with books any day of the week :) Hoping the librarian did not sell her soul to get this level of janitorial service :)
Bowing out today
