Re: [NYC-rb] Talk on ElasticSearch?

I would love that!  I'm just getting into it using it as a data store, and performing realtime aggregation queries on a massive amount of records, it seems like the perfect tool.  It agree that it kicks major booty.

Hi Mat - would love to hear about it.  It's definitely been on our radar but we haven't had time to investigate it.  Are you working on a seamless adapter for Sunspot? ;)

Hi all,

I know the next meetup is a ways away, but I was wondering if anyone
would be interested in a talk on ElasticSearch. ES is a newer search
tool in the same category as Solr, Sphinx, Xapian, etc. I've been
using it for the past couple of months and I have to say it kicks
major booty. I'd love to introduce it to the community.

Let me know your thoughts!
Mat
