I'm not sure if Hackerschool is still accepting applications but you can get into a Summer program like Hackerschool. Etsy is actually paying $5000 to any female developer -- though the one thing is they're not language specific (Ruby and Rails per say). They're mainly an environment where you hack up stuff each day with mentors and such behind you to get you up to speed quickly.

If I was a female, I'd probably attend! Getting paid while learning is just :).
