Overview:
AMP, Collective’s signature product, is a workflow, data management and reporting tool that enables premium publishers get insights into their reporting metrics. 
 
The UI is coded in Flex, mid-tier is coded primarily in Ruby, and the “big data” back-end is  (Netezza & hadoop) . Our reporting database (we call it CDB - collective db) is a proprietary memory database that allows us to run reports at incredible speeds against huge amount of data (hundreds of gigs and into terabytes).

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be an integral part of our small team working on different pieces of AMP to help us scale it and make it better. If you’re a go-getter, self-starter, and a team player, Collective is the place for you. The development team has no hierarchy so we work together in a very collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Must have 3 years experience in developing commercial software or web applications
Must have 2 years experience with scaling
- load balancers
- lazy loading
- cache layer (memcache or other)
Minimum of 5 years of experience of development with HTML
Minimum 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, jQuery and AJAX
Minimum of 2 years of experience with web, app, or server setups (apache, nginx, unicorn, thin, etc.)
