A Time Machine & Perl on Rails.

Do you remember in 2007 when BBC ported Rails (then a 1.2.3) to Perl?
Does anyone know anyone who maintained that project?

I'm curious how they've faired maintaining their own framework with "neutered" versions
of certain Perl libraries. What's this thing looking like in 2013?
