[ann] Cequel 1.0.0 RC1 – simple Ruby object modeling for Cassandra with CQL3

Hi all,

I've just pushed the first release candidate for Cequel 1.0, a Ruby library for data modeling in Cassandra. Cequel has been around for a little while, but 1.0 is a major overhaul that now supports the considerably improved data modeling features of CQL3. The new release also places a heavier emphasis on ease-of-use and the principle of least astonishment.

At this point the library is feature-complete, with only documentation-type work left to be done. I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who uses Cassandra or generally has thoughts about library design. I'm not averse to making non-breaking additions to the interface before releasing the final 1.0.

Many thanks and much love!
