While the financial district may seem like just a crowded, faceless jungle, it actually contains the oldest and many of the most beautiful buildings and streets in the city, some dating back to the Dutch and Colonial eras. We'll step back into the past by finding these historical gems nestled amid the monotonous towers. As always, the focus of this walk will be more on seeing nteresting and beautiful places than on standing around listening to long stories about them, though I will of course provide some essential information.
