This is a Tribal Fusion inspired choreography that highlights fundamental Tribal techniques such as juicy hip work, shimmies, pop and lock and fluidity. Beginners will learn basic belly dance vocabulary and build strength and flexibility. The song used for the choreography is Requiem for a Dream, Dubstep version. Nellya has studied under several Bellydance superstars and has participated in teachers trainings with Bellyqueen and Tamallyn Dallal. The class focuses on celebrating the female form, our beautiful curves and different shapes and helping us accept our bodies and individual identities. Please wear comfortable clothing for the class. Located right by Times Square, the studio is easily accessible by the 1, 2,3,7, A,C,E,N,Q, and R trains. When in doubt, keep calm and Bellydance.
Love and Shimmies.
