Because I love the art of Middle Eastern Dance. I also have many friends who are professional BellyDancers. I thought I'd rejoin this community, as I'd bee a part of it years ago, and even one of it's previous organizers!
I'm a wallflower, and am very self-conscious about dancing anywhere except in my apartment, with the shutters closed, to Michael Jackson (his OLD STUFF!)
No, not as a dancer. I'll leave this up to my mother, who is an actress and artist.
Hum. I have no idea. However, any BellyDance which has a beautiful woman performing it would probably be fine with me ; )
Unfortunately, I've neither studied BellyDancing nor am a good dancer. However, I did take one of Athena Najat's BellyDance Workshops, and I do know how to roll my stomach! : )
I'd like to make new friends, while learning to dance. I'd very much like to learn the Dabke, the most popular Arab folk dance in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine.
As the new Organizer of this Club, I'm still getting to know all our Members. However, those whom I've met so far have been very nice. I had a lot of fun at the first Event I organized for the Club on December 7th. I hope we can continue to grow this Club as we have a lot of potential!
And I work for The AMC now
Hey Michael Kim! I have not done this before so feeling untechy and lost. How cool to find yu afte all this time.
Looking for a HOST for the Rodman Party tomorrow... interested?
Welcome Michael, to our meetup group. Hope to see you on the lanes sometime soon.
Hello, Michael! I am sorry, all your letters for some curious reason went directly to spam! I also wanted to share an idea with you - what if we choose a certain topic or, say, an article for one meet up. Then there will be more incentive for the people to come - at least for those who are interested in that subject. And they will also have a chance to prepare themselves. Just an idea!
I was rsvpd for paranorman but someone gave me tickets for this Mon so I freed this ticket THXXX!!!
