Monthly Meetup at Jimmy's no 43 - It's a free for all!

Come on out to our monthly meetup at Jimmy's no. 43. Originally we had talked about this month's theme being alcoholic ferments. If you have got one going, bring it on to share. If you don't, bring something else. Whatever is your favorite of the moment - it'll be a multi-faceted start to the New Year. We will taste and talk as usual and also start thinking about upcoming months - maybe we want to do a miso theme? if so, it'll take more than a month's notice. So bring your inspirations too!

Happy New Everyone! Sorry for the late announcement. Please bring whatever you've been fermenting if you can. If not, please come and just hang out. Michaela and I are hoping that we can plan at least the next six months so that everyone can get fermenting on projects. I'd love to work on miso and that takes at least a few months. Also Fermentation on Wheels (http://fermentationonwheels.tumblr.com/), a great fermentation education project, wants to do a workshop for us in June when they roll into town. Lots to talk about. Hope to see you soon!

Hope to have something at least mildly alcoholic by Monday. If anybody has any milk kefir grains to trade, I have kombucha scobies.
