What is your history with fermentation or what are you interested in learning about?

I've never fermented anything...well, intentionally anyway! So I'm very very excited to learn how to harness the power of microbes I've otherwise been trying to keep OUT of my food for so long!

I'm a vegan and biologist so fermentation is pretty much the perfect intersection of these two great loves of mine! I'm pretty damn excited to get started, as I've never fermented anything before.
