Hi, I'm Kim "Michael Lynn" Kinsey. ;) I was traumatized by "An American Werewolf in London" when I was 15-years-old. :p I am not that child any longer!
I don't know. I enjoyed "Deliverance", "Mad Max", "The Blues Brothers", "Godzilla, "Jaws", and The Evil Dead series.
Yes, many times. Long Island and upstate NY.
Cherry Bomb (Natalia) and Mike Riegelman really know how to have fun, how to make you feel welcome, and have lots of great ideas that they realize into wonderful events. Plus, they are really knowledgeable about Grindhouse movies! :) And, finally Riegelman is fucking hilarious, he and Natalia are both sweet, and Natalia is DAMN fine! ;)
Hi Kim! - I can't come up with an "It's Pat" joke - so I'll just say - I am a man. I was at Bill's to watch "Iron Sky". I think I met you there.
I see you live in Sunnyside. I used to live there for years and then moved out in 2007 to the city. Hope to see you at the Spring party.
Yep yep, looking forward to it. Just a shame I will be out of state for my niece and nephews b days the day of the premier lol
It was nice meeting you, too! Oxford is also on my "places to visit someday" list. I loved the movie "Elizabeth" -- Cate Blanchett should have won the Academy Award that year!
Looking forward to seeing you at future events.
It was cool to officially meet you also. Catch you next time.
Great, new, profile photo!
Hi Kim. Thanks for such a nice welcome. I had a great time at the Game of Thrones meet up. I would love to come to the meet up on April 14th, but I do have to work. Its just a matter of schedule. If I'm working in the morning I will definitely try to make it. Look forward to seeing you. Phil
Kim - I love Joanna Russ. She wrote feminist sci-fi AND looked at Kirk/Spock porn and thought, "Yeah, I could make an academic career off that." She's like a hero. I should be ashamed because I heard of Tiptree (through Russ) but never read her. Atwood I've read, but not "Oryx and Crake" specifically although it sounds interesting. I love a good dystopia.
Somehow I've managed to never to hear of Somtow Sucharitkul, so that's awesome. I love learning about new authors.
Yes! I'd be delighted to get you a copy of the book for your niece! Would she like it autographed? Shoot me an email at [masked]. Cheers!
Hi Kim, I have photos, posting tonight... Nice to see you!
