This group is for NYC renters experiencing troubles (and for those who've struggled in the past) with a non-responsive landlord, HPD, and/or ineffective housing court appearances seeking support from others who are going through similar challenges and sharing the most effective methods to resolve outstanding housing issues and disputes.

Primarily, we seek to share available resources (especially to fair-market renters) on dealing with housing maintenance issues and seek reform and standardization of NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), Department of Buildings, and Housing Court inspections, violation issuance, corrections, and improving the effectiveness of city agencies in ensuring that tenant's rights are upheld along with the warranty of habitability that all NYC renters are entitled to.
