What aspect of creating mobile apps do you enjoy the most? (It could be a favorite API or technology, development tools, languages, methodologies, whatever motivates or interests you!)
Leveraging platform-level capabilities of mobile devices to create applications which offer elegant solutions to improve the user's quality of life.
What have you found to be the single greatest challenge or roadblock to developing mobile apps? (Is a particular API or class troublesome? Framework issues? Library woes? Just trying to get off the ground? Vent here!)
OEM customizations of the Android AOSP tend to not honor all APIs and behave unexpectedly. This leads me to spend more time solving device/manufacturer specific issues rather than focusing on refining my app's features.
Would you ever be interested in giving a presentation to the group? (You could teach a new development technique, explore various mobile APIs, share best practices, development stories, lessons learned, etc.)
Yes, I would eventually like to present upon UX/app-navigation approaches to Android apps
What benefit would you most like to gain from being a part of this group? (Keep in mind that the main focus of this group is around the *development* of mobile applications.)
