The instant gratification is the best part of creating mobile apps. Our phones can do so much and they are always with us. This makes them the ideal outlet for ideas that I come up with. In addition, you are able to share your creations so easily since so many people are into mobile apps these days.
The greatest challenge for me is getting people to find my app in the first place. I list my app for free and I still can't get downloads. I just want to share my piece of work with people. It's disappointing to not be able to even give it away easily.
Yes, I would. But I am in no condition to do it now. I figure after I get three solid apps under my belt, I'll have something to offer others. But for the time being, I'm just interested in meeting others like me who are passionate about mobile programming.
I would like to hear some advice from people who are more experienced then me. I'd like to learn about design decisions that people make so that I don't have to go through the same mistakes.
My name is Jan-Michael Cruz. I am a new Android developer. I've been a fan of smartphones since 2007 when I got my first Motorola Q.
