Monthly meetup + interesting guest

Please join us for our monthly meetup with a special guest speaker David Krivit.

my name is David Krivit, and I am the Executive Director of ChamberMusicNY, a presenter of free chamber music at Lincoln Center.

Hi folks, I am going to speak on the method I used to create my 501c3. I took a 1 day course at Volunteer Lawyers for The Arts in their NYC office: http://www.vlany.org/legalservi...

A few weeks later I was assigned an attorney from a Top 5 firm and received an estimated $30,000 of free legal services that took me through the approval of 501c3 status from the IRS over a 12 month period.

My discussion will include mentioning the other costs, hurdles, possible alternatives, and basically anything I learned via my attorneys as I went through this.

David, that was one of the best meetups I have ever attended. Inspiring and actionable. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Folks; I have a couple of PowerPoint slides but won't be able to print them in time and our host Zalman won't be there for the 6:30pm start so if you want the file, email me at [masked] and I will send you the PowerPoint.

Thanks and see you tomorrow in the private room at Public House-
