Lin & Lenny the Pug

Pugs will march to support Animal Rescue and Pug Rescue.

Pugs will march to protest the proposed closing of famed pug rock club CBGBs on the Bowery!

Pugs support our troops but want to bring them home! Pugs say: bring home the troops!

Pugs will gather at the Washington Square arch at the north side of the park at NOON. Pugs will march around the fountain until they are bored.

Then all pugs who choose to do so will go to the main dog run and frolic with their brethren.

Pugs who prefer the small dog run are welcome to choose that.

Pugs stand for CHOICE!

All dogs are welcome to join our march!

Pugs do not discrimate! (Cats are another story.)

Pugs who do not choose to travel downtown can support us in spirit and have their own local meetups.

PUGS are power!

Pug power rules!

Gabba gabba hey!

XOXO

we arrived a little late (around 12:30 p.m.) and pugs had stopped marching due to the heat and were rapidly disappating home; we went into the larger dog run and had a good time anyway, with a handful of remaining pugs. perhaps if planning to march again in the summer the meet should be a little earlier say 10:00 and pugs will need to get out of bed earlier!
    •  too bad it was so hot, but i think it was a great event anyway and the pugs hung in there very well! i think all the pug meetups i've attended so far have been fantastic. looking forward to the next one!
    •  I was a lot of fun all for a great cause

Everyone, dogs included, were just walking in circles, not really enough "bonding time" between each other. Although after a while, the pugs and their owners started to sit down and were able to take some pictures and play with other pugs. 12 noon may be a bit too hot for the event. I didn't think as many pugs attended as I would have expected from looking at the RSVP list. But it sure was fun as my first pug meet!
