REMINDER: Accidents WILL happen, but YOU are responsible for cleaning up after your own pug! So, remember to keep an eye on him/her.

VERY IMPORTANT: ONLY pugs are allowed at our indoor events UNLESS approved by the organizer. IF your pug(s) happen to have aggression issues of any kind, please be mindful of this and excuse yourself from the event early (if you attend) rather than risk being asked to leave.

Saturday, October 31 10am-12pm (costume parade and judging at 10:30am). Fort Tryon Park dog run.

**$5 suggested donation per household for all attendees. All proceeds go to the upkeep of the dog run**

Last year 58 pugs participated in the costume contest as 90+ adoring humans cheered them on. Be sure you are a part of the group's LARGEST ALL PUG party of the year!

Yes, it is a potluck so EVERYONE is responsible for bringing something yummy to share with all the attending humans. PLEASE remember to bring all serving utensils, cups, etc.

(Just as last year, everyone should note whatever tasty treat you choose to bring as well as the number of pugs and number of humans attending).

PETOGRAPHS MINI PORTRAIT SESSIONS!

Cost: $30 (only cash or check)
YOU must also provide: email address & precious pug(s)

Session includes the following:
Up to 30 shots (depending upon pug willingness and time allotted...a couple may include a human if you choose)
A couple of days after the event, you will receive a link via email so you can view the photos
You may select ONE image which you will receive as a DIGITAL file (additional images may be purchased). The final 150dpi image (good for making 4x6 or smaller prints) will be emailed to you.
A portion of the proceeds from the day's portrait sessions will be donated to Animal Haven at Ixiana's discretion.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING COPYRIGHT:
Ixiana reserves the copyright to all the images taken. You may use them for personal use such as sharing with friends or family via print or web. You may also post them on Facebook, MySpace, etc. Using the image to make coffee mugs, greeting cards, etc. is also acceptable as long as it is for personal use and not profit. I would like to announce the next Astoria Pug Meetup T-Shirt Contest which will be held at a new indoor location called Jumping Bulldog located in Astoria at 26-11 23rd Avenue, btw. 26 & 27 Streets. This way our precious pugs can play in a cool and Off Leash environment.

Cool prizes will be given to our little fury friends. There will be prizes for the first three winners. LET`S GET CREATIVE!

The event will be on Sunday September 27th at 11:00am. Please be there on time since we have reserved for 2 hours the daycare center.

This new location will provide cleaning supplies, fresh water and treats for all our furry members, every human member can kindly contribute by leaving a donation of min. $3 dollars for each pug/dog.

RSVP is a must.

Last month's all-day thunderstorm forced us to cancel so here's hoping for a sunny September! Dear pugs, do you like cool yummy treats? Then this is the meetup for you. All pugs (and their people) are welcome for doggy ice cream at the 2009 Washington Heights/Inwood ice cream pug-tacular! Barkley & Cajun will be bringing ice cream to share with all their friends. Please feel free to also bring some to share if you are so inclined. Hope to see you there.
