Lenny the Pug's 9th B-day Party to benefit Curly Tail! (read details carefully)

  • April 13, 2014 · 11:00 AM
  • Animal Haven Soho

Last year's party raised over $1100 for Curly Tail Pug Rescue (CTPR) and we'd love to raise even more this year! With your help, we know we can do it!

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE R.S.V.P. PROCEDURES!

Here are the deets:

* MINIMUM $10 per pug/pugless human attendance fee

* light lunch provided for all humans (vegan, vegetarian & carnivore inclusive)

* raffles

* CTPR products for sale

* In lieu of birthday gifts, Lenny would like attendees to consider making an additional donation to CTPR or Animal Haven

__________________________________________________

R.S.V.P. PROCEDURE: DO NOT R.S.V.P. for any guests! Simply answer the required TWO MANDATORY QUESTIONS when you R.S.V.P. for your family (do NOT post this information in the event's comments section). This is VERY important for human catering purposes as well as there being a limited amount of pug goody bags (priority given in order of R.S.V.P.'s)! Please do not force us to send the pug police after you :)

__________________________________________________

REMINDER: Accidents WILL happen, but YOU are responsible for cleaning up after your own pug! So, remember to keep an eye on him/her. BE VIGILENT AND MINDFUL when eating during events as many pugs have allergies and those scraps you drop could cause health issues to someone's precious pug! IMMEDIATELY dispose of garbage and DO NOT leave plates, napkins or beverages, unattended at any time. NEVER feed someone else's pug without express permission.

__________________________________________________

VERY IMPORTANT: ONLY pugs are allowed at our indoor events UNLESS approved by the organizer. IF your pug(s) happen to have aggression issues of any kind, please be mindful of this and excuse yourself from the event early (if you attend) rather than risk being asked to leave. We have a THREE STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT policy. If your pug is involved in an "incident" three times during a single meetup, you will be asked to leave.

This event tends to be very crowded. Please do not attend if your pug has aggression issues of any type. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

    Thank you Lin and Lenny for a pug-tastic time on Sunday. Eli loved getting rubs from everyone and playing with all the puggies! We wish Lenny a very happy birthday with many more to come!

    We had such a great time! I had to hold back a few tears because we haven't been since my Charlie passed away. However, Oliver had a blast! Angel even ventured away from me to keep an eye on him. Hopefully we will be able to attend another meetup soon. Thanks so much!!!!!

    So bummed Lin that Lisa Glickman Meyer, Charles Barkley and I won't be able to make it down to celebrate the big guy's big number 9! We'll miss everyone at like Emma the Pug, Nadine Gilden and Pixel, Hank, Kevin Wilson and Lennon, Lexus and everyone else from the Pug Meetup group. Unfortunately we've got a plumbing issue from our dishwasher and need to make sure we don't start shooting the sequel to Noah Movie. Please take lots of pics :)! Oh and if for some strange reason Lenny isn't completely zonked later this afternoon --- Feel free to meet us up at the Sir Williams Dog Run in Ft. Tryon Park. Regards to all, -Ken

    Is it possible to have use of the elevator on the Broome Street entrance? If possible I would like to bring my Great Aunt (she is 93)!

    1 · February 26, 2014

    • Lin & Lenny the P.

      I believe the staff will escort you to the elevator when you arrive if you're handicapped. Someone with keys to the Broome Street door must escort you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
