It started with a salad then it grew. I've been interested in returning to community for a while.
Favorite recipe? Dark greens, olive oil, lemon juice, pinch of cayenne, agave, Thompson raisins, mung bean sprouts, Granny Smith apple Favorite raw food? GRANNY SMITH APPLES (plural) yum!
Working backwards: My goal is to accept where I'm at today and expound on what I've already created. 2012, August: 70% of my daily meals is vegetarian. Of that, I'm guessing 1/2 is raw. 2 snacks, 1 is a raw smoothy the other is usually not vegetarian.
Initially in 1997 it was to create simplicity & ease in my life. Today, the vibrancy of color, health & simplicity. I guess the real answer still is simplicity.
Guidance with shopping. I over-purchase and then food spoils.
Looking to re-connect to a healthier lifestyle and "lighten-up" in the process.
This kind of group can always use more people who want to clean house (physically) and heal YOURSELF through natural means. If you want to be told what to do - how to do it - etc. this is not the group for you. If however you want to be empowered to understand what works best for you through your innate wisdom fantastic. Healing yourself is a very personal thing. Donna has an understanding of how to convey these thoughts as suggestions and by relating what she did in a harmonious tranquil setting. So, to answer the question -- Why should others join? You should join esp. if "you're sick and tired of being sick and tired." If you're frustrated over 'conventional' medicine and you just want to feel better. You should also join because you want to hand out with like-minded people. You should esp. join to hear Donna share all the poop. (ha)
