I thought that the crowd was of great quality. It's interesting to see that neither sides (recruters and recrutees) are using Social Networks completely at ease!

    Great Meetup.
I enjoyed he opportunity to meet so many fellow recruiters and to learn all the different avenues available in recruiting. (Being on the agency side my whole career has provided very sharp perspective from but one view.) Steve's presentation was very strong, timely and on target for recruiters in the trench trying to expand their candidate reach.
I thought Steve's closing point about making inmails about the recipient not the recruiter was so simple and powerful.
My company is in Tarrytown, NY and we are looking to hire recruiters for our Banking & Accounting groups. Call me at[masked] x 113 or [masked] if interested or know anyone

Ruby Nuby teaches the latest web/mobile technologies and entrepreneurial skills to professionals who sponsor disadvantaged/at-risk youths. They learn together building socio-economic bridges. We place the youths in paid internships. Out of high school, they make $60-80k. We teach at NYU and have just expanded to Kenya/Uganda. We are seeking tech recruiters to partner with to place our students + sponsor our community-based program. Pls check out our Meetup group to find the talent you need.
