Three talks on distinct and interesting topics. I did hope to see something about how to shoehorn tests into a codebase without them, but Intent Media has had the testing culture from day 1 and were early adopters on client-side tests (awesome!). So with regards to testing at startups, I found it more about the why than the how, but again, great talks.

Thanks Chris for the feedback. And I agree with noah that it could be a good topic for a meetup in future.

Offering a behind the curtain view of Intent Media's various testing fronts with real numbers was well worth the trip from DC. Thanks!

This was my first time attending a meetup with this group. It started later than I thought. It would have been good to know that the actual talk wasn't going to start until 7pm. The event page stated 6:30pm. Also, I was expecting more talk about the how instead of the why. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting on more than one account.

Hey guys. I was confused when the status said that places are filled and I did not attend the session because of this. What should be done, if we have this status. Wait till the last email or come anyway?

Hi Ganesh, the RSVPs are to get an idea of how many people will attend the event and it helps the organizers. I would suggest to RSVP early in future.

I am so excited to have the selenium meet up group at our office next week for the tech talk. Here is a snap shot of what you should be expecting:
Introduction by Geoff Arnold: Technical Director at Intent Media (5 min)
Quality Assurance at IM by Mona Soni (That's me!!) (30-45 min)
Java Script testing by Andrew Childs : Front End Lead at IM (5-10 min)
Big Data testing by Michele Martone : QA Engineer at IM (5-10 min)

Please RSVP to see some QA action next week. Given that we have limited seats I would request you to update your RSVP status if you are not able to make it for the meetup (we'll miss you!).
