Facebook & Twitter for NYC Ultimate!

Hello All,

As the winter game locations become more uncertain, it was suggested that we start a Twitter account. Ironic that I do social media for my compay and hadn't yet done this... :)

In any case, I've gone ahead and created two ways to connect better and know what's going on.

- Follow us on Twitter:
- Like us on Facebook:;

Also, here are the new details for fall/winter play:

- Saturdays at 10am
- Sundays at 4pm

During the colder months we play as much as possible at Riverside Park, and we only do Saturdays and Sundays. Nice turf fields and a great view make it a fun place to play. The only trickiness is that we have to claim space there each time, as it is 'first come, first serve.' There should be a point person listed for each day.

Currently (as of 10/31/11) we are playing Saturday games at Morningside Park at the corner of Manhattan Avenue and 110th Street. This is essentially a block or two from the Northwest corner of Central Park. Sunday games are still being played at Riverside Park.

The Riverside location is all the way West just off the water between 102nd and 108th Streets. You can only enter the park at 103rd and 108th. The best way to get there is to take the 1 local to 103rd Street. Walk West until you see an entrance that takes you down to the fields through the park. After walking down the steps from the street, you will see a path that goes left and another that goes right. Walk down the right path until you see a stone wall and stairs that go down to the fields. From South to North there will be one small field surrounded by a track, another field with two softball fields (closer to 103rd st) and another that is a giant soccer field (closer to 106th st). After walking down the steps, you will see the large Soccer field on your right.

Hope to see you all soon!
