The $22.50 price includes the tax as well.
Here are the details:
Bacchus will be featuring a Full Bodied Reds, walk-around tasting where you'll get the opportunity to taste 20 wines (well... 20 full-bodied red wines to be exact). I've asked them to open a diverse array of grape varieties and origins so it should also have a good educational component as you can compare these wines with each other. Moreover, you get to keep the Riedel glass you'll be given to taste the wines with at the beginning of the tasting.
So, expect this tasting to be fun and informative, but informal as well. You won't be sitting around a table and there won't be a lecturer, but you'll be going around the room, tasting the wines, chatting with friends and people you meet. A great tasting for the chatty souls who have the desire but not quite the attention span to learn about wine.
Joking aside, I hope there will be interest from the group as this is a good opportunity to taste this many wines at this price.
For the die hard wine class fans, brace for our purely educational events in 2011!
