What do you love the most about vinyl records?

The warmth and texture. The stability and "real-ness" of the imaging. The process of listening to records. The availability of diverse music on vintage vinyl and the process of "scoring" great music.

How long have you been collecting records?

20 years, but feverishly for about 6 months.

What type of music do you collect on vinyl?

Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Classical, Country, Reggae, Afrobeat, Indian Classical etc., etc.

Because I love vinyl, I am a musician and I sell hi-fi at Stereo Exchange in NYC. Basically, music is my life and the analog medium is the best way to hear it aside from a live performance.
