What do you love the most about vinyl records?

I love the way they sound and look like.

How long have you been collecting records?

Since 2005. I began collecting LP's of classical music that my dad will bring from yard sales. And my interest increased since I received as record player as a gift. From then on, everytime I go to a concert of pop, rock, etc, I do my best to grab at least one LP from the bands I love the most.

What type of music do you collect on vinyl?

The last LP I got was the last album of PJ Harvey "Let England Shake". And my dearest album is the soundtrack of the film "A man and an woman". The piano and trumpet there sound just great! I have a lot of Chopin's and Rachmaninof ones too, some The Doors, Beach Boys, Neil Young, The Beatles, etc.

Hi, everyone. My name is Lena. I am from Peru and I am an international student, doctoral candidate in Hispanic Literature at Graduate Center. I am a poet as well or mainly, I d say. I love every form that art takes to bring out beauty.
