the 1st thing u should understand about chinese currency is depite what u hear on CNBC, the RMB is not pegged to the Dollar it's backed by the dollar. in short the Chinese RMB is backed not by gold but by US dollars I think all paper currencies will be worth less then the paper they r printed on. I just came from Canal str today & bought Gold bullion at one of the jewelry stores .
