Lingren yihan, circumstances require me to stop my Mandarin lessons. I want to say Xie xie to Liu laoshi for her hen hao teaching. Even at a beginners level I can see the Mandarin language is very musical and expressive. A major part of my lesson was a greater understanding of Chinese people and their Culture. Again Xie xie.

Thank you for the welcome message. I am sincerely interested in learning Mandarin. I have been taking weekly lessons at a local Mandarin school and have been coupling that training with Rosetta Stone and other language audio tools. I am looking to converse with Mandarin speakers to become a better Mandarin speaker. Can you tell me more about the meetups (average number of people, agenda etc)? Thanks!
