Hi NYEdTech,

Unleash Every Teacher's Inner Jedi. Knowledge Delivery Systems submitted this one for SXSWedu at: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/37413

How do we ensure every kid has a great teacher every year? How do we support teachers in an education system fraught with standardized tests, changing standards, and budget chaos? Come prepared to join the conversation.

We'd really appreciate the votes from the NYEdTech Community!

Thanks,

Great idea, Monica!

Classroom, Inc. (www.classroominc.org) proposed a session alongside the Digital Youth Network (out of the University of Chicago) on digital badges and how to integrate these into a citywide system of learning. After two years working with the Chicago City of Learning, there are some clear lessons we'd like to share with others as these initiatives take shape across the country. Thanks for the support: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/38291

Agreed! Thanks Monica! The Joan Ganz Cooney Center @ Sesame Workshop pulled together LEGO, Nickelodeon, and MIT Media Lab to talk about how engaging games can be used to promote playful learning. Planning on having design experts share lessons learned from applying the latest research to produce super popular/transformative games. You'll also get to hear about best practices on processes like research gathering, iterative design and user feedback. Here is the link to vote: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/39174

Looking forward to seeing people at this year's conference!

Hello Everyone,

After hearing a few people share their SXSWedu proposals at Monday night's event I thought it might be useful to rally the support of the community.

Perhaps those NYEdTech-ers who have submitted proposals can send the link out on our list so everyone can find their panel picker page and cast a vote.

Here is a link to mine: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/36708

Looking forward to seeing what others have submitted and connecting at September's event!
