After the great news Jehiah and myself received this week, it was even more satisfying to see what a well-supported and led group the NY Data Transit Summit is.
I have been very worried that when MTA settled with me, the awareness of our issues and pressure on MTA to continue to change would fade to the background.
The NYDTS is obviously the driving force which is insuring this does not happen.
Thanks, Chris, I'm glad to enjoyed it and were able to come. I'm confident that we as a group can keep this issue going and see it through to a positive resolution.
Its really nice to be part of a group seeking positive change.
I was also really glad to see Liam and Erik from BLIP attend the meetup - and I hope they continue to do so!
Those two guys are now 'the' legal experts in the matters most relevant to our group.
I agree wholeheartedly. Given the complexity of some of the legal issues involved, it's wonderful to have people on hand with the expertise to help us all understand what the law says and to clarify any confusion that crops up.
Just got the email from Nicholas about the message from MTA - more great news.
