Film, digital, or both?

At this point, all digital. I haven't shot with film in years. Expanded to cinematography a few years ago and I love it.

What's your level of experience in Photography? A Beginner? Have been shooting for a few years? Advance?

Serious photo/video hobby, I'd say between medium and advanced with some things, still learning other things like macro and light painting. Sometimes I take on photographic/video side jobs. Shot and developed film for years then got more serious with digital in 2007. I run the NYC Experimental Photography Meetup and the NYC Filmmakers and Actors Meetup.

What is the main reason for joining? To meet other photographers? Go out shooting place you have not been? To learn to shoot? Or other? Feel free to say what 'other' is for you.

Meet other photographers, go to new and different places, to experiment with new equipment, etc...

If you had one place to travel to for photography where would it be?

Probably Europe, Spain and France comes to mind...

I want to continue to develop my photography skills. This group seems like a excellent way to motivate myself to get out with my camera and experiment. It is also nice to meet people with this same goal, we sort of feed off each others enthusiasm.

What Patrick is saying about this Meetup Group

I like the venues chosen for this group, Ed is great.
