Mayor's Office Assistance for Startups Meetup at Wells Fargo Bank // Re: [New-York-Tech-Startups] hello all ... !

Hello All:
I'd like to comment on this discussion and also tell you below about my upcoming meetup presentation in association with the Mayor's Office concerning Financial Assistance for Startups at Wells Fargo Bank.
First, there's simply no mystery about the Organizer of this Meetup who chooses to be identified only as "NYC Tech" which is their right.
Obviously, this Organizer has paid the required dues to keep this group live, and has even visited the site about two weeks ago.
  • You can try to connect directly with them via the Organizer email link "Contact Us" in the sidebar.
Otherwise, just in case you missed this: members can organize meetups since this group is setup (generously by our Organizer) to allow anyone to suggest a meetup.
  • If you're interested in organizing events for this group you may wish to read the Help guidelines first.

  • Not positive, but I believe that if a second member indicates interest in the meetup suggestion it will automatically become an full-fledged event and will be announced to the entire membership.

  • So here you go... an opportunity to lead an event without having to pay Organizer dues! Now isn't that nice of our mysterious Organizer?
About the Mayor's Office Assistance for Startups Meetup at Wells Fargo Bank:
Having said that, if anyone is interested in helping me to cross-promote my upcoming entrepreneurial networking and learning meetup to this group which I'm organizing at Wells Fargo Bank for August 24th in collaboration with the Mayor's office, let me know via email: [address removed] and I'll publish it on this group's meetup site as an event suggestion:

Presentation Topic:

Stop Scrambling For Cash & Get Ready To Move Your Business Up To The Next Level!

This Meetup is all "pure opportunity" to learn about important funding resources available to New York City startups at any level of growth, and will include meeting small business financing startup expert Louisa Johnnson Zea from the Mayor's Office; plus socializing/networking time, prizes, refreshments and a business card exchange.
  • This is learning about A-Z FREE HELP to get financing where you will learn about 40 banks that are eager to fund startups. Yes! Even in this economy! Or, perhaps it's best to say: Especially in this economy!
