1/27 update:  Bit of a sad news:  Bondi Road has changed their Monday special. It used to be All You Can Eat AND All You Can Drink for $20 for 2 hours.  Now ... and I've confirmed this info with their Management ... it's all you can eat only PLUS a 5 drinks ticket, all included in the $20.  This means, the all you can drink part is no more :(  Still, I think the $20 is still a very good deal :)

Austrialia might be a 24 hour flight from NY but Bondi Road manages to bring a little bit of the continent to the Lower East Side.

The electric blue facade may be nameless but the wall-to-wall oversize pics of the Land of Oz's best known beach give the name away and emphasize the laid-back Aussie-style encouraged by the owners (also owners of The Sunburnt Cow). With photomontages of Bondi Beach scenes running down both sides of its high-ceilinged premises, Bondi Road ekes much mileage out of the surfer-dude theme. It’s fish and chips, Aussie style: breezy, sun-kissed, and booze-addled.  

$20 HAPPINESS

On Mondays, and ONLY on MONDAYS, it is ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK for two hours for just $20 - SERIOUSLY! That's $20 (plus tax and tips of course) for everything on their food and drink menus.

Monday nights are also CASH ONLY, so please bring enough cash for ease of bill settlement.
