Greetings to you all,

As Sandy is approaching New York City, we hope everyone is home dining on comfort food, curling up with a good book, movie, and off course - a glass of wine in hand . We thought that this would be a good opportunity, since you are all within reach of your computer, to get some feedback as to how we should structure our up-coming events.

We all share a love for wine, and there are several approaches we can pursue to enjoy and nurture it. For example, we can have smaller events more frequently that focus on tasting and exploring each wine's unique characteristics and nuances. Or, we can continue to have larger events that include presentations, tasting numerous wines, and the opportunity to socialize. We can also do a combination of both, or something different. It all depends on you. So PLEASE take a minute and respond with your suggestions.

Since Meetup does not offer a way to conduct a formal survey, we are listing options to make it easy for you to respond. Please feel free to add any other suggestions.

In your response, just indicate your preferences by listing the question number followed by your answer's choices.

Example: 1) A,C,D; 2) A-5, B-3, C-4, D-4, E-1; 3) C …. etc Very simple – right?

The Survey:

A) To learn more about wine
B) Because it has an Open wine-bar
C) To meet a potential mate
D) To meet friends and network
E) All of the above

2) Please rate the importance to you of following, on a scale of 1 to 5.
A) Quality of the wine
B) Number of wines to sample
C) Venue
D) Presentation/Seminar
E) Price

3) How long would you like the oral presentation to be?
A) 15 minutes
B) Less than 15 minutes
C) 30+ minutes - the more information I get, the better

4) How much would you be willing to pay for catered events (which also includes wine)?
A) $75-100 for a fully catered event
B) $50-75 for a modestly catered event
C) $40 or less for cheese, dips, and crackers/bread (as we have been doing)

5) Would you prefer smaller and more formal sit-down tastings?
A) Yes
B) No
C) I would like to have both kinds

6) Would you like the organizers to introduce you to other members?
A) Yes
B) No

Also, don't hesitate to include any suggestions and comments that you feel will improve your experience at the events.

We really want your feed back to help us structure our wine event so they can the most memorable and best possible events for you all.

SO PLEASE email your response to [address removed] as soon as you can.

Stay safe,

Your organizers,
Adam, Justin & Michael
