This meetup is for people who would like to explore New York’s “fine dining.” Some of the restaurants are more expensive than others, some are beautifully designed, others are simple elegant.
To be able to really get to know the strangers you are meeting the groups will be kept at a maximum of 8 people.
The goal for this meetup is to create a circle of friends over time who want to go out for dinner together on a regular basis, and maybe expand their activities to other areas.
In order to sign for a meetup you need to have a fully completed profile, i.e. with a picture of yourself (not your pet or favourite cartoon character), your real first name and all questions answered.
Every person will pay for their own meals, drinks, tip and tax, unless it is a special event with a fixed price. The sign-up fees for the meetup will differ depending on the rules the restaurant has established (some charge for no-shows).
Last minute emergencies can happen, but it often means that nobody else can fill the spot anymore and the restaurant might loose seats. If I see a pattern with cancellations I might not allow those members to sign up for restaurants where securing a reservation is challenging.
One more rule: No-shows will be removed as a member. For fine dining this is simply unacceptable.
