Hi All,

Recently Meetup.com decided to hide their message board and roll out a new email system without communicating what they were doing. The concensus was that the email system was horrible - everybody was confused, nobody could figure it out, everybody gets unsolicited messages (which feels like spam), and it just generally sucked.

Apparently the message board was just SWITCHED OFF. Yet, our board was mostly announcing events, and posting requests for partners. Everybody seemed to find the old message board to be a great tool. Fortunately we finally figured it out. Tthe message board is now switched back on and the hated mass-email is switched off.

If anybody has any comments please do let us know! In the meantime, let's use the message board to post requests for partners, or even if you're planning a visit to TRC and would be willing to hook up with somebody. This can be a big help for all.

Thanks and sorry for the confusion. We're looking forward to a lot more climbing fun. This summer we'll also be facilitating outside trips with our partners up at the Gunks. Details to follow. Looking forward to seeing everybody soon,
