Preparations are being made for the cremation of the Holy Body of His Holiness Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche, which will take place at Namdroling Monastery on May 23, 2013.
Here in Montana, we will be gathering on May 23 to do prayers and watch the live broadcast of the ceremonies taking place in India. The temple will be open from 10 AM for students to come and pffer prayers, do practice and connect with the mindstream of our teachers.
Once, after eating lunch with a small gathering of fifty students, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche rose to leave, turned back, smiled, and said, “It is good to gather together like one family.” In the same way it will be wonderful to be together in this way as one international family.
Supporting the ceremony and the sangha:
We’ll also have the chance to connect with our teachers and the teachings by making offerings for the cremation ceremony and to the sangha of Palyul tulkus, khenpos, lamas, monks, and nuns. If you would like to join in the offerings made by the U.S. centers, please contact [masked].
