Join us for board games at Fair Game!

Fair Game in Downers Grove has graciously accepted to host a board game night for us during one of their open gaming days: Saturday, September 15th! Open gaming starts when the store closes at 7pm and continues on until midnight, but we are welcome to arrive as early as 6pm.

Fair Game is located at 5150 Main Street in downtown Downers Grove just south of the train tracks and across the street from Another Round.

If you've been meaning to pick up a game, play something new that you love and must own, or simply need a few supplies like paints or dice - we encourage you to help support this local business! Fair Game is a wonderful game store with a great community of gamers. It is also the location we will be holding our Extra Life charity event on October 20th.

Fair Game normally sells soda for around $1 if you get thirsty. Snacks are allowed, but alcohol is prohibited.

If you've missed out on previous fun board game nights this is the perfect opportunity to come meet your fellow meetup members that share a passion for games! Hope to see you there! Please RSVP! Limit 30 attendees.

No Show Policy: If you RSVP to an event and cannot make it, the group asks for a courtesy text message, email, or status change on the event site. Some events require a certain number of people for us to receive special discounts. Other events are easier to organize if the number of people attending is known. Your cancellation provides the opportunity for your organizers to modify reservations as needed. After 3 no shows with no attempted communication, you will not be able to participate in the group.

Wished I could have stayed longer, but played a quick game of Dominion before getting called into work. Pleasure to meet those I was able to!!

Just a reminder that the max attendees for this event is 30. Fair Game just sent notice that we're nearing max capacity for their store. See you all tomorrow!

Just a reminder - Feel free to bring games that you own and know how to play! Always helps to have a lot of people to teach games!

Hey new guy here, just saying hello and wandering around. Are there any specific games you guys play? I'm old to the concept but fairly new to actually doing it.

We try to play every game members bring to events. :) Typically we play games that last under an hour, but we have had games last upwards of 5 hours before. Some games we've played the past have been Robo Rally, DiXit, Munckin, Cards Against Humanity, Dominion, Guillotine, Forbidden Island, and Shadow Hunters. Keep in mind Fair Game has a library of games for open gaming that puts our individual collections to shame so this event will be a little different from past board game nights.

Awww, you'll be missed Brian! It was the day Josh gave me to work with. I don't think we'll get to 30 RSVPs, but could you use your magical Organizer powers to put a 30 sign up limit to this event in case people want to prove me wrong? Thanks! ;)

Bummer, that's the night of Journey to the End of the Night, a huge game of tag in Chicago that I'm attending! Have fun!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
