Exploration of the Isles of Johnson Bay

Leaving from parking adjacent to the Blue Heron at 9am Saturday. Sorry for the short notice. Just decided. I have found some exquisitely beautiful trails through the mangroves and I am trying to establish an original route not used by other guides for Naples Kayak Company. Please join me for a 2.5 to 3 hour paddle. Beginners welcome. Nothing difficult, maybe six, seven miles. Bring water, sunscreen, chap stick and bowling balls (if you like that kind of thing), and lots of money because you never know. Must wear your PFD to paddle with me. Paddle at your own risk.

We had a small but intrepid group. The weather was beautiful, the company was wonderful, and the paddle was an adventure. I did not realize I could squeeze through such tight spaces. I look forward to more paddles guided by Tom.

Bob, you moved through the tunnels like a thread through the eye of a needle. Thanks for joining us.

    Tom,
Please accept a belated thanks for setting up and leading Saturday's paddle. I will always enjoy paddling in the Capri Mangroves . Bob Farley

What a great morning. It was beautiful to be on the water. I had such a wonderful time - tunnel was tight - but we all made it through - some spiders too! And, the White River was fun. Big thanks and hugs to Tom and the 2 Bobs for their help and instruction. Great fun.

Tom we were going paddling from Caxambus to Cape Ramono, but it has been canceled because of the gusty winds. and we are now going from Blue Heron at 8:30. Didn't see you message. So if you don't get anyone come with us.

Tom, we would love to go but we are busy. Would love to know where the mangrove trails are as we kayak through Johnson Bay occasionally.
