Survival, Preparedness and Sustainable Living Organization for Naples, Fort Myers and surrounding areas
FACT: FEMA starting declaring large scale disasters in 1953. FACT: That 1st year they declared 13. FACT: In 2013 they declared 62.
Large disasters have been increasing in frequency and severity with each passing year. Unsuspecting people are suddenly thrust into chaotic survival situations where they must rely on their knowledge and resources to survive. When a disaster, natural or man made happens, people can be forced to navigate the aftermath on their own because emergency services are stretched to the limit. Preparing for the unknown is smart. And expect the unexpected. The “it will never happen to me” mindset is a gamble and when the people who rely on you look your way will you know what to do.
We hope everyone will be patient with the new make over of the site, we are planning on making this a very educational and informative site dedicated to the many aspects of preparedness and skill sets and look forward to working with you all.
