I have been looking for people to connect with who deal with the same hurdles that I do. I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy in 2011. Before I was diagnosed I had many more challenges then I do now. I am very thankfor for the doctor who recongnized my narcolepsy and sent me for a sleep study and mlst. I had spoken to my regular doctor for years and was always told that as a full time student and full time employee I could only expect to be exhaused all the time, I just had too much on my plate. My biggest struggle today is helping my husband understand how I feel and how narcolepsy affects me.

My son has narcolepsy and I am extremely tired of searching for resources. I live in Memphis but I figured we could help each other through this site. He was diagnosed about two years ago. He is 24 years old and his social life has come to a halt. I am looking for holistic ways to help him. any great reads or any other things you believe to be helpful, please suggest. Also, he has a hard time working a full time job. Do you work a full time job?

I suffer from narcolepsy. I was trying to reach out and see if anyone else out there needed support and encouragement. It is a forum to share ways to thrive through living our gifts. Seems it isn't needed so I may close the page. Thank you for your kindness and question.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
