Adobe Create Now - Boston Road Trip

Rufus Deuchler and other Adobe evangelists are bringing the Create Now tour to Boston on March 11 from 6-9p at the MIT Stata Center. This event is for creative professionals and anyone who wants to know more about Adobe Creative Cloud. Rufus will demo new features, recommended workflows and tips.

There will be an opportunity for networking, Q&A and generous raffle prizes. The only cost to attend is a five dollar registration fee (includes food).

This will be in place of our regular monthly meeting.

If you are willing to drive and or want to car pool please answer the questions in your RSVP.

Last night's Adobe CreateNOW event at MIT was excellent. Rufus Deuchler gave a terrific demonstration of the virtues and value of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attended the talk and liked what you saw, or if you didn't attend it and are now awash in regret, then be sure to add the Adobe Design Camp on June 7 to your calendar. This will be a full day of Adobe-related talks and demos at a beautiful location in Boston. Here's the website: Breakfast and lunch are included, and there will be the usual glut of giveaways. Early-bird registration is only $45

If you are driving to MIT tonight for the CreateNow seminar event, there should be street parking available around the Stata Center. Here's a link to a map of MIT. The Stata Center is Building 32, and the entrance is on Vassar Street.

Meters take quarters only, and are valid till 6 p.m. Be aware that Cambridge parking police show no mercy. If your meter runs out at 5:55, and they see it, you'll get a $25 ticket.

If you take the T, the Stata Center is a short two blocks from the Kendall T stop on the Red Line.

Sounds like a good chance to get out of the house. Nice night view of the back bay from along the Charles River Basin not far from here too.
