great topic with people who know their stuff. The timing of this worked well for me, as I'm about to start a site, I've had some experience with Wordpress but as time marches on I needed a new onsite into the direction Wordpress is going. A great time!

David, Laura, and Celeste all did a terrific job covering WordPress, 3rd-party themes, and Photoshop Actions. David's demo was technical in nature, but covered just enough detail to show how to get a WordPress-based site running locally as well as "pushed" out to a remote host. Laura's demo was extremely well done. She was very well-prepared, and did an excellent job demonstrating how to customize themes and create "posts" for new blog entries, gallery updates, etc. Celeste's demo showed what's possible with PS Actions; I had previously never considered PS for batch type operations (and had only considered PS useful for single file operations). I left inspired to create a customized site, utilize an ("Elegant") theme, and develop Actions to help streamline my workflow. Thanks to each of you; this was a wonderful learning experience.
