  • Hello Everyone, lets go cross country skiing up in beautiful Jackson NH with picturesque

views of the White Mountains.  Come up for the weekend or just visit for the day.

I am planning to spend the weekend up there at my Ski Club right in Jackson center.

So I am posting x-country skiing on Saturday & snow shoeing on Sunday (2nd meetup)

You can attend one or both if you wish. There are some nice Inn's in the area:

    Wildcat Inn & Tavern -[masked]

    The Snowflake Inn -[masked]

    The Wentworth -[masked]

The Christmas Farm Inn & Spa -[masked]

** Or the option of staying as my guest at the Ski Club - things to consider though....

my ski club has separate men & women's rooms with bunk beds in each,

so you are sharing the room with others. There are more details & fee which I can

share if you are interested - but I am limited to the amount of guests I can bring.

Call me if you are interested in this last option - cell ph[masked]

    Children (under 10): Free

    Snowshoe Ticket - $10/day

They also offer ski rental & snow shoe rentals - call or visit their website

We are hoping the weather will cooperate But we could always hike in the area instead, if there is not enough snow, so bring boots & micro spike, in addition to the ski and/or snow shoe gear.

After skiing we can stop for lunch, there are a few options :

J-Town Deli & Country store within walking distance (has hot option & great deli sandwiches)

Yesterdays (also within walking distance) has nice soup & salad & sandwiches they also

    serve breakfast all day long.

Things to Bring: obvious stuff = ski's, poles, boots.  But also remember to bring water &

snacks if you want. Dress in layers, so as you get hot or cold you can layer up or down.

Hat, gloves, extra socks or dry clothes to change afterwards if wanted.

Don't forget the Camera for those embarrassing, fun to share moments :)
