Very informative, excellent wine and surrounding. Thomas and Konrad broadened the knowledge about wine making and tasting.

Sorry all! I didn't know a cost was associated with this. I was just passing it along. I'll be more careful with what I make an official MeetUp in the future. I will be planning our monthly Stammtisch (always free) for April here soon.

But just to make sure everyone knows: this is a "special event", not a regular Stammtisch meeting, and there is a cost attached of about $ 70 + tips. Just to make sure everyone is aware of that.

I am sure it was not Thomas' intention to mislead anyone here. I myself find the website sometimes hard to manoveur so I am sure he just did not find the right place to put this information .

As for my previous comment, it would be a service to all if the cost of special events would be mentioned. Sorry to vent, but I also am not alone in my feelings on this. Tschuss

I find it reprehensible that some seem to use meetup as a tool to make money. Especially as to the cost of this wine dinner. I called Miel, only to find out they had no idea of meetup, and was placed on hold while they got tge information on the cost of $69.95 per person plus gratuity. She kept asking me to make a reservation before telling me the cost.
