Finally! A meetup for progressives/liberals/lefties on this little island of blue in a big red ocean. This meetup is for folks looking to socialize with the broad spectrum of fascinating folks who consider themselves left-of-center. This isn't for political organizing (although someone should really start that meetup), but rather for fun, meeting new people, socializing, networking, and generally having a good time with interesting folks on the left. 

To keep things manageable, I'm proposing that this group meet up in Nashville, although we'll welcome lefties from all over the area!  As a brand new group, we'll need folks to contribute as co-organizers to help get things going and share the process of building a thriving group.  Please let me know if you're interested in helping!
